TULSI BEHL is a filmmaker with experience in directing, writing and producing short films and music videos. Most recently she has directed and produced a short surreal comedy-drama pigeon, starring Alice McMillan and Gledys Ibarra.
Tulsi has a great passion for genre storytelling that entertains and educates audiences on current world issues. She likes to play with tongue in cheek humour and embed melancholy truths in these stories.
She has worked in the film industry for over 6 years jumping between different departments to try and learn as much as she can. She has worked on set as an Assistant Director, in VFX, the production office and as an assistant to directors, producers and actors. Notable credits include Indiana Jones 5, The Meg 2, The Batman, Star Wars: IX, and The Souvenir: Part II.
While studying film theory at The University of East Anglia, Tulsi set up a filmmaking society and student run film company, gaining over 150 members in the space of a year. She produced numerous shorts on a shoestring budget that were entered into prestigious student film awards.
She also attended the National Film and Television School Residential Program in association with the British Film Institute when she was 17. And has since become a BFI alumna, participating in the prestigious and highly competitive Future Skills Program.
